Saturday October 31, was the pheasant opener in Iowa. Me and two other guys went out all day from 8:00 to 4:30 and shot only three birds. We shot our first pheasant at about 11:30 just before we went to dinner. The dog was on point and all we had to do was let him flush it out. The other two were shot during the afternoon. We all got wet trying to jump across creeks that were too wide to make it across, so we were all soaked by the end of the day. This made walking pretty unconfortable, but thankfully we were in the last field of the day. It was a good day, eventhough we did not get our limit. A positive digital footprint should show your christain beliefs. It should not include swearing or things you are ashamed of. Your digital footprint is open for pretty much anyone to access, so you have to be careful about what you put on the internet. Almost every thing in this post is a lie. As for the story, it’s a way to use words that are commonly misused. I hope I do not elicit any negative comments. I expect to accept the award today. The affect that I have had on the community was less than some, but their gratitude is appreciated. Last summer I worked at Ground Effects Landscaping. There you can find good workers and positive attitude every day. They do good things each and everyday. I decided to sit down and set up a group to help out in the community. Just two days after I had the idea, I called for a meeting. Among the people gathered there, there were many influential people. The mayor was present. Also present, sitting between high school students, was the principal of the local high school. The principles of the meeting were great. We wanted to make a thorough plan to help the community. We wanted a peaceful place for the citizens to create art pieces. There were already a few parks in town, but we wanted something special. The mayor stood up and said, “The parks here are beautiful, but they’re not quite what we are looking for; you’re all responsible for helping the community.” We all wanted an area where people could take deep breaths, and not breathe in dirty air. The principal stood up and said, “As your principal, I ask to be a leader in this project. I want to be able to lay down a plan in led and bring this project further. We are all conscious of the fact that we need a decent place to sit down and have a piece of dessert. Your consciences should tell you that the city parks are in a time of descent, they’re practically deserts. We’re all ready to start this project. Who’s with me? With fewer parks in town there is less creativity.” Somebody threw a tomato at him because he was talking too long. There was obviously loose restriction on the current parks, meaning criminals could vandalize it and cause us to lose creativity. The farther away the park was from town the less people would use it. We needed good location. Through the meeting there was not a person whose ideas were shot down. All were accepted and used in the creation of the park. I am really not surprised at the statistics of the article. Western is no different than any other school when it comes to cheating. I admit to having cheated a few times myself. I think most, if not all, students have cheated at some point in their school careers. I agree that the internet makes cheating a lot easier, but there is just as many ways to cheat without the internet than with it. Plagiarism is a form of cheating, but many people do not realize what they are doing until after its done. Sometimes deciding whether or not a person is plagiarizing is tough. Plagiarism is obvious when people copy and paste sections of papers off the internet. The person often uses grammar that they normally would not. These cases are very obvious, but sometimes plagiarism can be confusing.
I am absoultely addicted to hunting. Hunting deer is probably my favortie thing to do. I would be really bored if I could not hunt. If you lived in the same part of Iowa I do you would understand that there is not a lot to do. No we are not a bunch of hicks that have nothing to do, but we do live in a farming community with small towns instead of large cities. There is a lot of great hunting land in the area I live and when hunting season rolls around I usually am not seen until its dark. The latest CNN News story is about a girl who was eight years old twenty years ago and was raped before the attacker slit her throat from ear to ear. She layed in a field for 12 whole hours before a classmate triped over her foot and found her!! She was never supposed talk again, but she proved the doctors wrong. She is now trying to get the man responsible caught. I will really accept any comments anyone gives me. I really will not be hurt if someone criticizes my writing or my grammar. I will not approve inapropriate comments though. At first this blogging challenge sounded very boring and uninteresting, but it might be fun. I joined it because our College Composition teacher made us. I thought it was just going to be a bunch of dumb writing, but i think it will defiantly help me improve my blog. |
